The annual Tsunami Memorial Walk will take place on Thursday. It will begin at 9.30 a.m. at the Pacific Tsunami Museum and finish at the Tsunami Memorial Clock.
The annual Tsunami Memorial Walk will take place on Thursday. It will begin at 9.30 a.m. at the Pacific Tsunami Museum and finish at the Tsunami Memorial Clock.
The Rev. Hosho Sugawara will lead the walk, carrying a memorial plaque listing the names of victims. Members of Hilo Nichiren Mission will follow, chanting with drums in the Nichiren custom. Everyone is invited to take part in this memorial. For further information, please call Sugawara at 959-8894.
